Before performing any maintenance or repairs ensure that the PowerBook is unplugged and the battery has been removed.

Close the screen and turn the PowerBook over, orienting the computer upside down, using the label to guide you.

To reassemble your device, simply slide the battery back into the slot until it snaps into place.
