Introduzione
The belt on a customers mower broke. They also broke the bearing retainer. I designed a bearing retainer and 3D printed from Nylon PA12-CF. I will link the STL for you to print yourself. All parts will be available for purchase on my website.

Undo the 7x PH2 Screw screws on the top case

You may need to remove the handle from the height adjustment. This mower was missing the handle

The top cover can be removed and set aside.

This mower has broke the piece that retains the bearing, then it snapped the belt. We are going to fix both problems

Turn the mower over and remove the blades so you are left with just the motor shaft. This mower already had the blades removed

Remove the 7x PH2 Screws holding the motor assembly to the main case

The motor and belt drive can now be removed from the lawn mower and set aside.

Remove the broken bearing retainer with side cutters and flush cutters if you have them

Using a wire brush on a drill, or a scraper, clean the housing to remove as much of the dirt and grass to prepare the housing for the new piece.

If you are not replacing the bearing retainer you can skip this step.

3D print a replacement bearing housing - File available online. Print in the strongest filament you have available. ABS, Nylon etc. Do not use PLA/PETG https://www.printables.com/model/1768728...

Alternatively I sell these on my website printed in PA12 Nylon-CF which is very strong and stiff. Perfectly suited for this application.

You may need to adjust the size of the bearing recess until it is a snug fit with a dremel or similar. Dont sand it too far otherwise it wont be a friction fit.

Using a hammer and a socket press the outer race of the 6902RS bearing into the bearing recess. I used a hydraulic press but thats overkill for this. It shouldnt take much force.

If your bearing retainer isnt broken, you can take this oppurtunity to install the new bearing into the housing

Position the bearing retainer as straight as you can inside the housing, you want it to be as perpendicular to the motor shaft as possible to reduce wear.

I used a 2 part epoxy, but any industrial strength glue should do the trick here. Something with a bit of thickness. Not super glue.

While you have the motor unit out you can replace the other two bearings.

There is a 10mm nut on the shaft end on the opposite end to where the belt pully is. Remove that and pull out the belt pulley and shaft.

Replace the 609RS & 6002RS Bearings in the motor housing

Before putting the motor back into the housing - replace the belt if it is worn or damaged.

There is belt tensioning screws x4 on the motor pulley side to make it easier to replace the belt

Once the glue is dried and you confirm it all fits you can reassemble everything in the reverse order.
