With replacing the motherboard you have to use the TR-9 screw. This replacement guide shows how to replace the whole motherboard. In this step be pre cautious due to the motherboard being fragile and can break.

    • In order to start uncrewing any of the screws off the speaker we have to peel the protective cover off.

    • Pry the front of the speaker off using your nails or a device capable of fitting inside the crevice.

    • Once pried off, we have to remove the eight 1.2 cm screws on the speaker.

    • Use a TR9 screwdriver for the screws.

How or where can I purchase a new motherboard for my Emberton II? My won’t charge the battery any longer, I’ve since bought another speaker but would like to repair this one if I can get my hands on a new motherboard. Thanks in advance.
