    • Make sure the display data cable is placed correctly in its socket during reassembly. Failure to do so will result in a partially visible display or no display image at all.

    • The small metal brackets may fall off once the covers are removed. When replacing them it is easiest to set them in place with a pair of tweezers.

I did it! But the mouse isn't working :( I double checked the trackpad connection and restarted. Still no movement. Maybe it's a bad trackpad? Anyone have any other ideas?
