Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5-1570 Back Panel Replacement

Almost everything that may need replacing in your Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5-1570 can be found underneath the back panel. A damaged back panel is problematic on its own but can also lead to other more serious problems if not replaced. Removing the back panel is a little tricky, however following the steps in this guide should allow for a smooth removal.

Remove the ten 5 mm Phillips #00 screws that are holding the back panel on.

Use a spudger to pry open the back case at the two hinge cutouts.
Gently use the plastic opening tool around the edges of the laptop to pry up the clips holding the rest of the back panel.
