This is a guide made to show how to replace the RAM in a Lenovo Edge Thinkpad E431.

    • Close the device and remove all power cables.

    • Lay the laptop flat with the bottom facing upwards.

    • Remove the four 2mm Phillips #00 screws from the bottom panel.

    • Remove the back panel of the device.

    • Using your fingers, spread the clips away from the RAM module.

    • The RAM should "pop" out of its socket.

    • Pull the RAM out at a 30 degree angle.
