How to repair saddle latigos

Undo the knot holding the latigo/ billet strap in place. You can use a screwdriver if the knot is placed tightly.

Remove leather piece and take off the latigo/ billet strap

Once the old latigo/billet strap is removed, identify and compare new latigo/ billet strap and reinsert. Make sure its the correct latigo/ billet on the correct side

Insert latigo/ billet strap back through the ring and insert leather piece through the holes.

Redo knot to secure latigo/billet strap.
