Gather your materials: a thicker-grade super glue is ideal for a more durable and long-lasting hold to resist impact and shock. A coarse, low-grit sandpaper helps remove surface material and allows for a stronger hold.

Locate a high heeled shoe that has its heel partly or completely removed from its base.

Remove loose dirt , surface soil, and debris from the heel and sole of the shoe using a dry, soft-bristled shoe brush or damp paper towel.

Blot the fabric with a dry paper towel and allow the shoes to air dry away from direct heat and sunlight.

Use sandpaper to repair structural damage and roughen the material to make it easier for glue to bond. Lightly rub the heel and sole of the show in small, concentric motions until the surface is completely leveled and smooth.

Apply a generous coating of superglue on both the heel and the sole of the shoe so that a thick layer of glue forms between the sole and heel layers.
