Take the stainless steel clamp and loosen the screw by hand or with the pliers until it will slide around the hose.

Place the clamp close to the connector but not too close, and begin to tighten it by turning the screw on the clamp.
Use the pliers once it starts to get harder or a flathead screwdriver if you have one.

Twist the new hose connector to the water source.
