Inspect frame to make certain the Monofilament Lens Retainer is broken. If the wire is not broken, your lens has fallen out and can easily be re-inserted. If the wire is broken refer to the following steps.

I was just gonna comment this! Used floss and it worked great. Thank you for this article though, it was very helpful!

Using floss is a genius idea… combined with this article.
I don’t have the fishing line available (need to order it but that means days of wait), so I need a quick way to fix it (at least for short term).
Floss won’t work for the more authentic repair way (tightening without tying a knot), but it works well here as I have floss at home!
(yes a long term better fix is what HIK mentioned, but it requires a good measure of the thickness of the hole / string to ensure a tight fit)
I dont agree with above method, it will end in a very visible knot on both side of glass. The professional way is to pass the wire from one hole and again back in from another hole place the glass and stretch the wire on both sides, it will make it hold the glass tightly, no need for a knot. Just look at any half frame carefully and you will understand.
I was not aware frames came like this, right lens wire snapped, I see how to repair, but my hands are not steady, would a eye glass store help?
