Turn the infrared sensor switch to "off."
The sensor light will turn from red to gray.

Another way is to run it under hot water.

Be careful to not scratch or otherwise damage the dispensing chute with the tool, as this can lead to interruptions in the dispensing of ice.
Wipe away any remaining ice with a warm cloth.

Return the ice bucket to the freezer.
If the ice bucket does not seat securely, rotate the auger slightly.
Once the auger is aligned with the motor coupler, place the ice bucket on top of the motor surface.
Let the ice bucket cool for 10-15 minutes to cool to its original temperature. This will prevent ice from clogging the dispensing chute once the ice maker is turned on.
