Introduzione

Some soldering will be required in order to complete the speaker replacement.

  2. Remove the battery cover and take the battery out. Unless you want a quick pick-me-up, in which case feel free to leave it in and get shocked.

  3. Unscrew the four corner screws using a phillips #0 screw driver to remove the back cover. While the screws are recessed deep into the cover and difficult to see,  2-4 turns will easily release them.

  6. With the phillips #0 screwdriver, unscrew the two white plastic clips that hold the speaker in place.   7. Use flush wire cutters to remove black and red wires from the old speaker. Note: The black wire has already been removed in this example image.

  8.   9. Connect the battery and turn the power on to test proper connection of the new speaker.

    • Some static is fine, this is the natural sound of the amp.

    • Careful not to touch any of the metal components inside while temporarily testing the connection.

  10. Reverse steps 1-5 to complete repair.

    • Connect the amp to your favorite instrument and test out the new sound!
