I have a cracking in my toilet tank going almost the length of the tank and below water line resulting in a leak. In your experience is a sealant a good option or in reality would the tank need to be replaced in time ?

Thanks

It would make more sense to replace the tank, than seal any crack which would only reappear after time anyway.
