Place the all in one computer face down on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching the front.
Press the tab on the stand cover and lift up.

Remove the four phillips screws that attach the stand to the computer.
Tilt the stand up and out.

Starting from the optical drive, pry the back cover up with a plastic spudger.
The cover is held in place by fragile plastic clips. Careful to not break them.

I took the back cover off because everytime i connected the power cable the blue light on the power cable would go out and in taking off the back cover i might find something obvious. I did not find anything obvious except for a plastic clip floating around by itself. this may be the cause to a short i am thinking. Any ideas?
