Introduzione
Conservazione non corretta, esposizione al calore e gatti possono causare deformazioni del vinile. Il vinile deformato può portare a una resa acustica traballante della tua canzone preferita. Fortunatamente, i dischi deformati spesso possono essere riparati, in modo da poter tornare a girare a ritmo in poco tempo. Avrete bisogno di due fogli di vetro più grandi del vostro album, ma abbastanza piccoli da poter essere messi in forno. Vetri più pesanti e spessi tendono a funzionare meglio.
Una volta terminata la riparazione, assicurati di conservare il vinile in modo corretto, in verticale e al riparo dal calore, per evitare future deformazioni.

Tira fuori il disco dalla sua custodia, e assicurati che sia bello pulito.

Appesantisci il vetro con libri pesanti o un altro oggetto piatto e pesante.

Lascia il disco sotto il peso del vetro e dei libri fino a quando non si raffredda completamente.

j’ai réussi à dévoiler un vinyl neuf que je viens de recevoir par blueNote »rolling » de Truffaz. J’ai d’abord essayé 3 min à 80 degrés C, le vinyl étant toujours voilé, je l’ai laissé 6 min et là c’est parfait. Pour un précédent cas avec un autre vinyl j’avais fait couper 4 disques de verre de 10 mm d’épaisseur au format 33t en securit, j’ai posé le vinyl nettoyé aux ultra sons sur le premier disque, j’ai posé les 3 autres disques de verre dessus, mis au four, et voilà une belle galette bien récupérée.

When I was a kid, I watched my Mom fix a warped record one time by putting it between the plates of glass and setting it in direct sunlight for about 10 minutes. That worked as well.
Would sheets of stainless steel work? I don't have access to glass sheets.
I used 2 pieces of glass first time 170 degrees 3 minutes did not do the job then I try 4 minutes a bit better then I went for 5 minutes after that I put 4 heavy books for weight on the glass for 1 hour.The record came out perfect.
Now, if only there was an easy way to fix scratches…

I came here because the new Fleetwood Mac albums (50 Years Don’t Stop Collection)I received today are warped… Got a kick out of seeing Rumours. Luckily, however, my Rumours original press is nice and straight. Gonna return/replace my box set… But, thanks for the tutorial. It’ll surely come in handy for some of my other vinyls.
For the two glass panes you can use two sliding mirror from a bathroom/laundry wall cabinet..
Many ovens, including mine, will not regulate properly down to 80C…..The lowest setting on mine is 120C….Far too hot, as I found out!
The temperature can be changed however by slowly moving the knob around between the lowest setting and off ..(gas oven).
Use a temperature probe in the oven, attached to a temperature or multi-meter and stay and adjust the oven to the right temperature for the necessary 3 - 5 minutes with the record in the oven.
Remember it is better to underdo (can redo) than overdo (It’s toast) for obvious reasons…Good luck!
