Introduzione

If you are having issues with the responsiveness or functionality of the key pad on your Casio Cassiopeia E-125, this guide will walk you through the process in 10-15 minutes.

Having a Flathead 3/32" or 2.5 mm Screwdriver, and a Phillips #00 Screwdriver will make this process more straight forward and reduce the possibility of complications.

In Step 9, proceed with caution: Potential for device damage. Do not pull apart the wires connecting the outer case.

  1. Flip the device over to the back side.
    • Flip the device over to the back side.

  2. Slide the small switch on the back to "MAIN".

  3. Slide the battery cover downwards.

    • Lay the two halves of the outer case next to the central components as shown.

  10. Use the #00 Philips screwdriver to remove the three screws in the corners of the screen.

  11. Lift the tab on the motherboard and pull out the ribbon cable. After the ribbon cable is detached from the motherboard, the touch screen is completely separated from the device.

  12. Use the #00 Phillips screwdriver to remove the five screws on the back of the front case.

  13. Pull the ribbon cable out of its port on the back of the keypad.
    • Pull the ribbon cable out of its port on the back of the keypad.

  14. Now, lift the keypad off the front case.
    • Now, lift the keypad off the front case.
