Remove the top cloth material with heat

Remove four Phillips head screws

Use a spudger to lift off the plastic panel

The wireless charging coil sits on a sticky pad, can be easily lifted with tweasers

Loose the two screws and gently tear appart the internal plastic body from the external metal case

I think on FC he mentioned this was still his primary device and until he replaces it, he won’t do a further tear down.
Yeah, that is all for now. Like Andy said I'm still using this device and will do a full destructive teardown when I replace it. I'll update the introduction with that information.
I'm curious to know what kind of plastic is used in the construction of this device? Is it high grade PEEK good for a working temperature between 480°F and 500°F without off gassing, V.O.C.s? My air Vape Legacy Pro after 12 months of use, the vegan leather and hemp decals have delaminated from the plastic housing!
Please note it doesn't matter if it's food grade food grade plastic, which is mainly used for plastic bottles and storage containers Etc. Don't make the mistake I did, please avoid this purchase! Unless you're into off-gassing plastic into your system! After doing some research Air Vape will not confirm what plastic they're using! Extremely disappointing!
My DaVinci iq3 isn't without issues but at least it's made with premium parts using Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Zirconia
