2017 Honda Accord Headlight Replacement

This guide will show you how to replace the headlight of a 2017 Honda Accord. Prior knowledge of how to use a ratchet wrench and basic car maintenance is required.

    • Pull the Hood Latch lever inside the car, located under the steering wheel.

    • Lift the hood while pressing up on the lever under the front of the hood.

    • Lift up the hood prop rod and insert it into the hole on the underside of the hood.

    • Use a 1/4" ratcheting wrench and a 10mm socket to loosen the bolt on the negative terminal head.

    • Lift the terminal up off of the battery and place it to the side.

    • Use the clip remover tool to pry the clip up to remove it.

    • Use a 1/4" ratcheting wrench and a 10mm socket to remove the three bolts.

    • Use a 1/4" ratcheting wrench, a 6" extension and a 10mm socket to remove the last bolt.

    • Gently pull the headlight out.

    • Press the tab on the connector and pull. Do this for all 4 connectors.
