Introduzione

I wanted more than anything to give my children a good Christmas so I bought my daughter new speakers for her car. Then in order to get me to install them I chose to create a fast fix guide. You will find comprehensive instructions here to install new speakers and amplifier into the trunk of a 2007 accord. It may seem daunting at first but take it one step at a time and remember anything can be overcome with hard work, a little know how, and a bunch of money.

  8. Run the wires under the back seat and along the driver's side door sill (removed in step 1) to under the steering wheel.   10. Run the power and ground wires from the trunk through the door sill and through the firewall to the engine bay.   11. Now run the power wire where it will be out of the way. Run the power wire (red) and the ground wire (green) to battery, connect red to positive and green ground to a clean piece of the car body. Make sure to leave the power wire off until finished.

  12. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the head unit. Connect the four speaker wires and one remote wire to the harness as suggested in the owner's manual. Connect the four speaker wires and one remote wire to the harness as suggested in the owner's manual.

  13. Clamp down the wire harness on the five wires. Tape up the wire loom to keep it neat. Finally insert it  back into the head unit.
